PBL 2 – day 3, specific technologies selected and application in curriculum expectations explored today.

Technology for teaching & technology for learning secondary school mathematics.

Today was about consolidation and consensus. Large group problem solving usually means individuals do lots of work, and sometimes none of their effort appears in the concrete results… BUT, has definitely had an impact in the collective thinking that moved the group to its final outcome and product! Schools, departments, divisions, are all large group professional spaces where it requires many to do work that may not appear ‘on paper’ but does appear in changing mindsets, attitudes, and collective thinking. Ultimately, as teachers, our collective work is for our students’ benefit and their learning.
